Don't leave your Best Friends all alone -
Bring them to Almost Home Doggie Day Care.
We want to provide a safe, fun place for your dog to play and socialize.
We are here for your convenience; located in beautiful Sonoma County between Sebastopol and Forestville, and west of Santa Rosa. You can drop your pal off early in the morning before work, and we will be here waiting for you to pick up your contented friend after work.
Our half day rates are perfect for a day of shopping. Or leave them for a full day while you enjoy the many experiences that our area has to offer.
The inside area is divided for dogs of matching temperament and size. We have a separate "lounge" with comfortable doggie beds for dogs wishing to nap or for anyone with special needs. Beds are also available in the inside play area, which the dogs tend to use more for wrestling than resting.
Outside is a large sunny yard on over a quarter of an acre, fenced for the safety and security of your pal. The enclosed areas include places for big and little dogs to exercise, run, dig and stretch their legs. A covered patio provides protection from the elements, and encourages play in rain or shine.
Your dog can make friends, socialize, and just hang out with the pack.
We are so much more than a kennel or boarding facility. We do not have cages, pens or crates. We provide all day care full of fun play and exercise.
Our goal is for your dog to be comfortable and confident.
Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Reservations are appreciated.

Please call in advance for an evaluation appointment. We request that we have some time with your dog to assess his/her temperament and behavior. We want to match your dog with the best possible play group and provide the most comfortable environment for any special needs.
Vaccinations for for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirois, & Bordetella must be substantiated. We will contact your veterinarian for you if you wish. Please have a current application of a flea control such as Advantage or Frontline on your dog.
Training a dog is 50% repetition, and 50% respect. When you have her attention, and she respects you, she will want to please you. When a behavior is repeated enough times the dog comes to know what is expected, and responds. It may sound simple, but it takes time. For an additional fee we can help you develop a training plan, or practice commands with your dog.
You will find it much easier to work with a tired dog, especially after a rousing day of play with us. Dogs love to have a job. Consider training your dog to get your newspaper, your keys, or some other activity they can perform daily.
